PEMBROKE, GA (WTOC) – A new facility is coming to Bryan County.
An announcement made Thursday at the Prosperity Through Trade Luncheon at the World Trade Center in Savannah revealed that CZM Foundation Equipment, whose headquarters is currently located in Brazil, will be relocating its headquarters to Bryan County.
The plan is for a new 40,000-sq-ft facility that’s expected to create about 75 new jobs. It will be located in the Interstate Centre II industrial park in Bryan County.
‘We are delighted CZM has chosen to expand in Bryan County, Ga.,” Noah Covington, Chairman of the Development Authority of Bryan County, said in a release. ‘CZM is an important part of our existing industry base, and we appreciate the high-quality manufacturing jobs the company provides. We look forward to CZM continuing to grow in Bryan County.”
CZM originated in Brazil and has locations there as well as in the United States and Italy. The company builds and offers high-quality foundation drilling and pile driving equipment. They came to Bryan County in 2012.
“Bryan County was the perfect location for us to launch our North American operations,” Giuliano Clo, President of CZM USA Corp, said in a release. “We are excited to expand our presence here and appreciate the continued support we have received from the Development Authority of Bryan County and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.”
With the new facility, the company expects to have the ability to produce double the number of machines they make currently.
CZM will continue operating in existing space in Pembroke for fleet rentals and servicing. The company hopes to break ground in July and be operational by the end of the year.
